Respect for property and investments is what showed in 2008 recession, was that United States stock market had foreign investors trusted it enough to put, almost 2 trillion dollars in it! Does it actually? When Germans asked their 1500 tonnes gold back, in 2013, US agreed to give back 300tonnes in period of 7 years. Having 8000 tonnes of gold and being able to send 300 tonnes of foreign gold in period of 7 years, instead of all 1500 tonnes... We are absolutely sure that US if fully capable of logistics and transportation so what was the problem? World really doubt if US really have the gold reserve it claims to have.
