In 1947, while the world was recovering from war, six intrepid Scandinavian adventurers set out to prove the theory that the islands of the South Pacific could have been populated by peoples from pre-Columbus South America. They built a raft from Balsa wood logs and set out on an amazing adventure to challenge and change the scientific thinking of the time. The story of the men, the mission and one of the great modern voyages of adventure.

Visited the Kon Tiki raft in Oslo. To actually see it is really something. These people were the 'astronauts' of their era. Thor Heyerdahl is a direct link to the great age of exploration...These men were real pioneers.

I am Peruvian and I think the theory of the origin of American men is true about of our Asian origins. Asians migrated somehow to South America that is why I have found physical Asian similarities. The INCAS legend says that they came by water of the Titicaca lake then the Sun's son traveled to Polynesian Islands that is why the similarities in constructions.
