JBL speaker has a fuller, more 3D sound signature. Whereas the ONN speaker, the sound stage is flat. Sure there's bass, but there's no depth in each of the songs played. It really could benefit from a couple extra tweeters, instead of relying entirely on a pair of the same speaker set for every possible note. Sound quality > more features.

Ant this is Funny! Just got my son the Onn yesterday for a surgery gift. I like JBL but I have 2 of the new large party speakers. For the money JBL wants and sound quality of the Onn it’s a no brainer to buy the Onn. I got the 2 large Onn party speaks for the cost of one JBL. the only thing I wish Onn would allow is the pairing of more than 2 speakers at a time.

I like JBL‘s large speakers I have two of the 710s however on JBL‘s smaller speakers like this one in the video I think they were way overpriced. Of course JBL is going to sound better than the ONN speaker. but what it is as stated in this video for something to carry to the beach or whatever no way would I pay almost $400 for the JBL I will settle for the ONN hands down. However I’m fixing to upgrade and get 2 of the JBL Ultimate speakers and will probably move both of my 710’s to my bedroom soon.

I have the extreme 3 currently. I can’t decide if I should get another extreme 3 for stereo mode or get the extreme 4.

Overall the JBL sounds a bit better, but the bass IMO sounds a bit sloppy. The Onn sounded a bit bass shy compared to the JBL but I guess if this was an outdoors test, the difference would not be that noticeable. The Onn has no tweeters to produce the high frequencies though, which suggests that the treble response is likely to be a bit less clear and a lot more directional than what you get from the JBL.

Of the two, if I was listening to one of them on the beach and someone snatched and ran away with it, I think I'd cry a lot less if it was the Onn :-).

oneslty i found a depper bass in the JBL but I also think the heavy price tag of the JBL comes along with the brand, Design, Manufacutring techniques and also just recognition. Aint no one gone come up to you and say " oh that's that new onn boombox"😂

I use the Aux Jack to connect my portable DJ Controller via a Y Jack for a small house party or grilling on a deck or small back yard. Great video. The JBL has better bottom end that the ONN!
