In France most of the parents teach to their child to taste a dish before saying "i don't like it, it's disgusting" even if the dish seems to be reluctant. Odor and look can hide a very good meal

”i feel like he missed Creole(?) as well. My friends out in Haiti”
Well. No. He’s listig the places that are part of France. Haiti is its own country, not apart of France. That’s also why you didn’t see Quebec (or any other part of Canada) on the map.
I Don’t know if that is What you are refering to when you’r saying ”he missed some places”, but that’s the way it is🙂

"Venison" is the name for the consumed meat of the deer, in the same way we say "pork" instead of "pig." Game hunting happens in many European countries, especially in Germany and Italy. It also occurs to this day in the U.S. which has many hunters. What we're talking about Dthe difference between the more popular supermarket meats beef, pork, chicken, and lamb to a lesser extent, and what private hunters obtain and prepare themselves. You can even get buffalo meat burgers and steaks here. Duck (which is luscious) is available by special order.

France is also the 16th most productive country in the world, despite sleeping the most. Just imagine how far we could go if we started trying 😋

@Brian Velez If you go in Corsica and tell them they were part of Italia... You will never be seen or heard of again. (I am French ;-))

I can explain the reason for the percentage of French songs in France. at the beginning of the 80s (beginning of fm radios) these radios broadcast only English or American songs. hence a law obliging the broadcast of French songs. So the law was made because we love American music too much

Funny story:
19th century Romania clearly had an unhealthy obsession with France...well minus the countryside.
It got so ridiculous and bad that one famous Romanian playwright (I. L. Caragiale) created a series of parody plays where he made the "borrowed culture" look like a pile of bufoonery.

Don't make a face like that x) although it's strange for you, but really, eating snails during the winter at the Christmas market, it's so good and warm ^^ If you ever come to France, taste at least one snail, you'll get such an exquisite taste if not x). I'm French even if I think you would have guessed it ^^

In first French people give liberty to USA with Mr de Lafayette and The Battle of the Chesapeake, also known as the Battle of the Virginia Capes or simply the Battle of the Capes, was a crucial naval battle in the American Revolutionary War that took place near the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay on 5 September 1781. The combatants were a British fleet led by Rear Admiral Sir Thomas Graves and a French fleet led by Rear Admiral François Joseph Paul, the Comte de Grasse. The battle was strategically decisive, in that it prevented the Royal Navy from reinforcing or evacuating the besieged forces of Lieutenant General Lord Cornwallis at Yorktown, Virginia. The French were able to achieve control of the sea lanes against the British and provided the Franco-American army with siege artillery and French reinforcements. These proved decisive in the Siege of Yorktown, effectively securing independence for the Thirteen Colonies.

I'm not a fan of snails – the sauce is the best part of the dish in my view – but I ate some in my time and not in restaurants. We would harvest them on rainy days in summer because that's when they get get out of hiding. But what most foreigners revolted by the idea of eating them don't know, is that you don't just cook them right away. You feed them with stale bread for a few days beforehand to "purge" them, so they don't taste "green" and bitter.
