Thank you Gilbert Strang and Lex! Gilbert and his students celebrating his birthday with designing cupcakes as his favorite matrix has been my desktop for a long while. He might not be super familiar with AI but he shows the value of foundation. And I hope to be a person of his kind.

I have gone through quite a lot of OCW content and it's really impressive and much appreciated. Though one could argue the UX is pretty 2005 terrible and despite the fact it is free, the core content is so quality it deserves better presentation and marketing IMO. Someone tell Matt Damon he doesn't even need his $1.50 library card anymore.

You know you are a good teacher when everyone tells you that you are, but you keep telling them that it's the subject that is interesting. Thank god for MIT opencourseware! It's paradise for any curious mind interested in STEM related subjects.

I just plug Gilbert's name in any conversation I can If somebody ask me that they are struggling with calculus. I tell them first watch "The Big Picture "and thank me later.

I am currently using OCW to prepare for my Education studies program I am going to be starting in the fall. And as an inside joke, when people ask me where I graduated from I say "I am currently a student at M.I.T (and then turn my head away from them block my mouth with my hand and whisper) open courseware"
For some reason it's hilarious to me.
