I'm a 60 yr old white female. I have always resented that people were put into color boxes. Not all white people are the same or from the same places culturally. Same with blacks, Asians or Latina. I'm proud of my heritage. Scottish and French Canadian. Very proud!

As a Middle Ages white male, most of my professional life I have had to walk a razors edge because any accusation from a minority or female could end my professional career with only an accusation, which has happened twice, where I was investigated for 3 months because of an unfounded accusation from a minority female, that was known by HR to use sexual harassment complaints to avoid consequences of lacking performance, and had done this to no less than 3 mgrs, I have had that r word thrown around when doing write ups. So there are plenty of times as a 42 yr old white heterosexual male I feel that many time I can be targeted due to the privilege I am perceived to have. Personally I feel it okay to be you as long as you aren’t an asshole, but I also feel that there are still people in this world that will continue to use racism or sexism to justify being an asshole to those that aren’t like them

It’s crazy how people make a big deal out of “problems” like this these days. I was deployed to Djibouti about 5 years ago and we convoyed everyday to and from work. One day there were about 3 or for kids(ages 10-13 probably) chasing us crying because they probably just wanted water. We weren’t allowed to stop. That is a real problem. People in this country have no idea what struggle is.

Always found it weird when I first moved to the US to have a whole month delegated to being gay. Also, these kids need to chill and follow their own advice not to put groups people in boxes based solely on their melanin content.
