Enkanomiya Origins Lore and Theories | Genshin Impact Lore/Theory

Enkanomiya has been a region of Teyvat we've only heard about a few times in the game. With the release of patch 2.3, Mihoyo snuck in a lore gem in the form of the lore book, the Serpent-Drake of Tokoyo no Kuni. The lore book outlines the history of Enkanomiya before Orobashi. In it, we learn about a mysterious god, a lone sage, and the sun children. All of this stuff changes the way we should think about Enkanomiya and it definitely hints at a really exciting new underground region for us to explore! In this video, we explore some really exciting lore and theories surrounding this mysterious area.

also in the quest "clean house", we get to "unlock" the gateway to enkanomiya, which i never knew

Something I think is worth considering is Kokomi’s constellation. It’s the “Sleeping Dragon” constellation. I have a feeling she has ties to, if not actually being, the dragon heir. Like I said, just something to consider

When you said something about having a "sun mode and moon mode", you were right on the money, there is a mechanism which controls the light of enkanomiya and there are 2 phases of night in enkanomiya dubbed the "Whitenight and Evernight".


And you were right on the part where you mentioned but there will be 3 areas that the light couldn't reach but those 3 areas are located to the far north, west and southern part of enkanomiya and the light also affects those 3 areas

So I was thinking, Enkanomiya is underground and what other places we know that are underground? The Abyss and Khaenri'ah! What Khaenri'ah is known for? Not having a god and Khemia. What the Abyss is known for? Monsters.
So:
1 - The Dragonheir is a monster from the Abyss
2 - Abe Yoshihisa met someone from Khaenri'ah who taught him khemia
3 - Abe Yoshihisa used khemia to create a star which gave birth to the sunchild

1 - The Dragonheir is Nidhogg the dragon like serpent who eats the roots of Yggdrasil
2 - Abe Yoshihisa was a homunculus created by someone using khemia
3 - Abe Yoshihisa used khemia to create the people from Enkanomiya making them all homunculi but the Dragonheir fed on them turning them back to chalk so Abe create a star which gave birth to the sunchild

The second ties together with the whole World Tree lore we have in Genshin, gives a meaning for the fear the people from Watatsumi have of chalk and also makes Orobashi a really caring god who viewed them not as synthetic beings, but as humans.

About what might set sun children or the ruling class from the rest, we have two characters that come from khaenria with distinct eyes and eye patches, Kaeya and dainsleif, both having the same simbol we see in albedos neck inside their eyes

I've always wondered if the people of Enkanomiya are humans or not. Since humans needs sun to survive. Artificial sun doesn't give you Vitamin D and stuff so-
