On the contrary, zebra stripes prove evolution. The stripes blur lions sight, making difficult for lions to focus on a prey. So the mutation was selected.

When Lett made his gag about evolution, I experienced what the Germans refer to as _fremdschämen_ - feeling embarrassed on behalf of another person. Actually both him and the poor souls laughing along.

It's funny that the people most vocal about evolution are also the ones who know the least about it. Also, keep in mind that the bible literally says that if sheep look at striped wood when they conceive offspring, those offspring will also have stripes. Genesis 30:39

The amusing thing is that Lett explains how scientists think that unique stripes on a Zebra allow their young to identify their mother, thus appealing to scientific authority to support his point, he then attempts to deride the same scientific authority by sneering at evolutionary theory. That really is trying to have your cake and eat it. Of course, theists in general have long quoted any scientific discovery or hypothesis that would appear to support their viewpoint, while in the next breath pouring scorn on any that seemed to contravene it.

A trait that enables or enhances survival in a local environment is the definition of natural selection. Natural selection is an evolutionary theory. Denial is a river in Egypt for creationists!

Snowflake shape is a function of temperature, humidity, wind currents and height above the ground and is also an artifact of the water molecules themselves being flat and triangle shaped . In other words, chemistry and physics. Evolution is mainly a biological term and even though other fields of science do use it, other fields using the term has almost nothing to do with biological evolution . For example, stellar evolution describes the stages that a star goes through as it forms and ages. Nothing there has anything to do with biology.

It has also been proved that Zebras enjoy their stripes because as a result of them they suffer much less irritation from flies than other animals on the plains. Seems good to me!

I’ve always thought Zebra patterns are for the same reason as why they painted stripey patterns on ships during WW2. It is to set up a dominant pattern which obscures the pattern and outline of the animal and makes it more difficult to judge the front end from the back end, so it is harder to judge the direction of movement.
Could be a myth in more than one way.

In the very early 2000s, I studied with JW (total 5 years, not Brother). I asked two PIs to image when there is the truth of the evolution. I hope for JW to follow the new light. And the new light never came. The authority of the Pope, based in the Vatican City in Rome, Italy, took the evolution path as in the world's first religion to accept this! Overdue!
