Back when I used to 🔥 it down, Tequila was my go to liquor of choice. A total beer-aholic 7 days a week but when the demon inside wanted to take it up a notch, Jose Quervo Gold would do the job. This Halloween was my 22nd yr. of sobriety! My New Birth Date. I get more excited about this date than my actual birthday.. The Struggle was Real. Divine intervention is the only way I beat the “Demon in the Bottle.” “Footprints in the Sand” is framed and hangs above my end table. Our Creator will carry you when you feel you can’t go on. I’m living (and sober) proof. My thoughts and prayers go out to anyone struggling with alcoholism or drug addiction. You can do it, if you want it bad enough and you have your Higher Power pulling you up the mountain.
