Now is it possible once you have a compound path to then move those shapes without releasing the clipping mask? Trying to setup a complex design in illustrator using one compound path then needing to move the shapes to setup a nested print file. have issues creating the mask for each shape without the program moving slow being it duplicates the mask for each shape and makes a massive file to work with. I am working with a design and and image, I know you can typically create a crop around the mask but in this case it does not work with the image just the vector work. Any help? Hopefully that makes sense.
