I was just wondering if a Reit was subject to the same tax % as an etf in ireland.

In Ireland, are their tax breaks for owners of real estate comparable to those in America? i.e tax deductions for depreciation of the building

If a reit would beat iShares in profit, i would use it to diversify my investments, but i am guessing in Ireland it is taxed same as etf at 41%? Or is it different? Simpler tax policy would make it easier as well rather than accumulating etf after 8 year taxing policy....lots to learn, I am just starting to learn but am keeping an eye on iShares eur hedge etf at the moment

I have been looking at a US Reit, and they provide a direct stock purchase plan with dividends reinvested, this is eliminating a broker and brokerage fees. There are fees if you sell shares.
I was just wondering what you're thinking on this would be.
