My Cleft Scars Are My Favourite Feature | SHAKE MY BEAUTY

A WOMAN born with a rare facial condition says she has learnt to love her scars. 25-year-old Isabella was born with a rare form of cleft, that meant her lip was attached to her eye at birth. She has had 23 reconstructive surgeries throughout her life, and bears the scars on her face because of them. Growing up was difficult for Isabella, as her peers would call her names and say she 'looked scary' on one half of her face. Though she struggled with her image in the past, today Isabella has gone above and beyond accepting who she is.

Man, I hope they're able to make it so she can eventually close the eye. Not because of how it looks, but I have bad dry eyes and it feels like glass shards are in your eye all the time. As long as she's not in pain, that's all that matters! Beautiful woman!💛
