Thanks for watching! Let me know in the comments if I've missed anything, and I'll do my best to answer any other questions you might have!

P.s. My apologies for the weird light from behind me - I forgot to close my studio door 🙃

So much to get out of this. Thanks Tom. I won't mind if you provide paid structured online courses like on Evenant or Master the Score. You should consider this. But first I think I have to check out your Patreon.

Yes! Amazing description and composition, i really liked the 4 voice counterpoint, the lyrical section and the amazing sound of the horns, if my ears are correct, the horns are from metropolis ark 1 ? great content as always, have a great weekend!

Thank you so much for making this video on this beautiful track ! i've just watched it for the first time but I will watch it again to go into details ! 😉

I thought cinematic studio series company as created their librairies (CSB, CSS, CSW) to be ready to play without affect the level of instruments one to another or the level of the libraries one to another. In your mixer, you seems to be tweaking this. Is it because your effects (Eq, compression...) are affecting the levels or because we do have to tweak the levels knobs individualy to blend well the cinematic studio series instruments and libraries ?

Really impressive stuff! I'm amazed from all those small counter-voices especially in woods and melodic percs - it adds a great layer of realism and depth to the piece. Also great work on keeping the structure tight!

So the Seagull Merlin seems similar to a mountain dulcimer! (I own one) Love that sound with the Lute so much!

One minor complaint: Your voice is too quiet compared to the music.
