REALLY... it took me 45 YEARS to find one of these… and I found TWO! – METAL DETECTING – Episode 300

All of us who metal detect have some things we say are “On our Bucket List”… things we wish to find but haven’t. On this hunt I knock one off my list after 45 years of searching… but the day got sweeter because I actually found TWO, and Larry dug one as well.

Congrats big time sir! This is why we stay in the hobby through various ups and downs. I hope it does not take me 45 years though to find me something — anything — from the Civil War. That is my biggest bucket-list item right now. Loved this history bit! They say at some of the very earliest battles of the Civil War, ladies and gentlemen came out to picnic and watch. They brought umbrellas with them.
