This video really is like the "Missing Manual". The instructions the case ships with don't deal fitting the silicon heat pads over the PMCI chip- which is significantly smaller than the supplied pad for that purpose. I wasn't sure if I needed to trim it to the size of the PMCI chip, but your demo illustrated this wasn't necessary and II just copied your placement. Given this deals with cooling the Power Management Controller Interface, I wanted to be 100% sure I was doing this step correctly. Thanks Bud!!!

Thanks! You have a new subscriber in Ireland.
I could not figure out out the fan wire in the guard rail. Your video made it clear.

Very cool! I ordered one a few days ago despite not seeing any reviews, because I had such a good experience with my previous Argon NEO. Seeing it in video and your experience with it makes me feel good about my decision to buy it.

I really wish you showed how many thermal pads you applied and come in contact with the core. >.<

Where do you put the official RTC battery? I had to wiggle it between the floor plate and the Raspberry Pi...

Cool, it’s a little wider on one side.

I'd like to buy extra thermal pads for the rest of the components. What should be the thickness?

Do you think it's possible to use the top of this with a Pimoroni nvme base as a replacement for the bottom? I was thinking this might be a nice silent way to create an NVME Pi.

I have to say that case looks very pretty. The groove for the fan cable 'did it for me' 🤣 The screw fittings on the bottom of the case suggest this could be mounted on the rear of a monitor.

Good video, nice case. If i want to connect a bottom NVME HAT. Is there a gap for the ribbon cable in the case? I see somthing over the SD Card slot but im not sure if a ribon cable will fit.

Some 3 years(??) before I ended using the Argon 2 with the Nvme extension ..With the exception of the need to very soon changing the fan this one is a very good and functioning solution.. Very good in deed ..It is working 24/7 relentlessly.. Now..with the Raspi 5..I think I'll wait for the DOWN (the Pimoroni maybe..)NVME addon card edition..

Why did they changed the colors... would prefer the same materials and colors like the old neo and one.

I'm more interested in Argon One v3 m.2 unfortunately it's out of stock.

This case feels much much more cheaper than it's predecessor. Leave alone the orrendous color scheme and the fact that most distros has currently problems in custimizing the fan curve. At default the fan starts and stops continuously because the fan starts at 50°C that is near the idle temp.

It only touch the SoC and PMIC? Not a good design thermal-wise in my book.
