Recently a lot of the videos we have done have been about 35mm cameras, so it is about time we take a look at a medium format legend. The Mamiya 645 Super.

I can't tell you how much I've been enjoying these videos. Just the right tone always. And goodness gracious those red leafs!

Important note: you MUST engage the viewfinder pin with the lens aperture "fork". You visibly oversaw that step, totally disabling the exposure metering. You meter behaved as if you were at f22 all the time, regardless of your actual aperture.

Hey we got to see some of Bellamy’s photography! Bonus. Nice work.

I have that exact same setup, down to the accessories and lens. Love it.

That was a very very comprehensive review of the Mamiya 645! I have my analog photography vlog too! More power!

I literally just picked up a 645 super kit and couldn’t be more excited about it. Great video as always!

Thoroughly enjoyable and informative vid. The leaf colors are stunning. Also, looks like a nice Speedmaster on a strap.

Use to have one, it was broken most of the time, so brought it back to the shop. But when it worked it did very well.

Great video. I recently bought myself this camera and I am upgrading with the grip and eye viewfinder. 👍

Best value medium format camera. The only downside is it's weight/size (esp with the winder)

Great system with better lenses that work on almost any digital with amazing results.

The best information is it can be repaired.. with camera pricing and age; that's a tremendous benefit.

I have the Pro with manual wind crank and waist level fiinder. it's super portable and lightweight in this configuration. You''ll be hard pushed to find a better 645 camera in my opinion. beautifully sharp lenses and lovely camera to shoot. getting more expensive to buy these days too. i have carried out several repairs on this model and documented it on my channel. One camera i would never sell. I'm taking it to the grave!

Every 20 year old in Brooklyn NY thinks this with a roll of Portra is what normal people shot in the 80s and 90s. They don't realize normal people were on an Olympus Mju or a Nikon F at Disney World loaded with Kodak Gold 200...

I have and love the 645 1000s, even though it's a heavy bugger. I thought about upgrading to the Super for the interchangeable backs, but I've been put off by reading numerous reports if the cheap plastic mirror stop failing/breaking, which appears to be unrepairable. To me, that's an Achilles heel and a deal breaker.
