[Genshin Impact HoYoFair] Times... Changed?

Показать описание
After passing out at the Lambad's Tavern, Lumine wakes up to find herself in an unfamiliar place with familiar faces, yet strange new weapons.

This was a huge project that I could not have done by myself. Everyone on the team contributed so much to create something that we're truly proud of!
(note: I'm aware the selector on the rifle is in the semi auto position the entire time. We missed it in rendering. Just assume Lumine has a really, really REALLY fast trigger finger)

Lumine’s torment at not having primogems is just so relatable.

Bennett's supply drop just falling right ontop of the enemy in such a casual manner is such a bennett thing for some reason and i love it

I'm no professional but I have studied cinematography and am a huge stickler for it. You guys did an absolutely fantastic job! Of course the animation work and voice acting is on-point, but it was really the use of the camera that got me smiling like a maniac. Many forget that the camera is an integral part of telling the story. In this piece, the camera speaks, aiding in the flow of the scenes as well as the atmosphere. It was seamless, it was awesome and I cannot wait for more!!! From today I am a Lumine fan! And she is the one character I cannot get because I have Aether xD

Lumine crying "my primogems" was the most relatable part

The Lumine we want but don't deserve

Hey everyone, good news!

While this event isn't added (yet), gun-characters have: Navia and Chevreuse.
I don't care if you've all seen them already, we're one step closer to Mihoyo creating this video/event.

This is honestly astounding. The animations are stellar, voice acting is great, the ending could be seen as a sad truth of the Traveller. Always moving to one world or another, even in dreams.

I love that you incorporated the genshin elements into her weapons, this is incredible

Lumine is us during every special event:

"Where am I? What's going on? Who are all these people?"
"Primogems!"
"Nevermind, I'm in."

I love how Lumine smiled when she saw Bennet’s box. It was so wholesome 😭

Me being a lover of Genshin and Call of Duty at the same time, this is a blessing.

It's nowhere near the amount that this quality of work deserves, but i hope it'll at least provide some encouragement and show how much i love that this exists

I can't imagine how hard and time-consuming this animation was. Gotta give props to everyone who worked on this animation, the direction, animation, voice-acting, everything is great!

2:50
i've never seen a bad guy miss by overleading their shots and I think that's a great detail that I happened to even *notice* in the first place
This kind of dedication to gun detail in a genshin animation?
crazy
excellent work my dude

Here are a few tiny details that I noticed that made things infinitely better. (This is going to be long)

At 2:35, we see Lumine eliminate three enemies, but ignore the fourth. The fourth one went left, behind the wall Lumine was running along, only to reappear a few seconds later as Lumine does a jumping dive shot.

At 2:25, we see Lumine barely dodge a lunging stab from behind. Using an empty mag, she stunned her enemy for a second before using a full mag to uppercut an enemy so hard that it's neck breaks before finally reloading we weapon.

At 2:50, we can see that that of the big guys bullets hit Lumine's shield as she ran by. Didn't have to do that, but you did.

At 3:00, you can actually see the rocket inside the RPG.

At 3:20. we see enemies actively respond to seeing Lumine drop a grenade of unknown ability. The halt their pursuit until the grenade's effects are known.

At 3:40, when Lumine begins firing the full-auto, she slides back a bit before stopping herself. She obviously didn't know how much kick the gun had, and was almost knocked over. Luckily, she has a quick response time.

At 4:05, we see that the anemo from the RPG caused the pyro and electro energy at her feet to collide and explode. Same thing for the two mages.

Both times you see Lumine use an RPG, you can see the back-blast. I know that this one seems obvious, but you won't believe the amount of times I've seen it get forgotten.

At 4:20, we see one of the shield guy's bullets hit very close to where Lumine was running. The sudden shockwave caused Lumine to lose her balance and fall off the wall. Hitting the ground while her own shield was in the red being the thing that breaks it? Perfect. It means that it wasn't the enemies that broke her shield, it was gravity, a power they could never hope to out-damage.

At 4:37, when Lumine jumps out from cover and domes that one guy, the other guy next to him instinctively protects their own head instead of diving for cover. (This is something people have to actively be trained not to do.)

At 4:50, you can see the shield guy check on the "heavy-weapons-guy". Most likely to make sure that the heavy was done reloading/clearing a jam. (As seen by the heavy lift his gun off the ground while defending the mages.)

Also at 4:50 Lumine's little smirk at seeing the last of her enemies all huddled together, making for one massive target instead of several smaller ones.

At 4:45, when Lumine jumps onto the guys shield. She knew he would do that and planned her next move around that knowledge. (I know this because of the smile still present on her face as she is flung away.)

At 5:15, Lumine's wink during the final shot. A common thing, but it worked well coming from her. Completely unnecessary by all means, but perfectly in character.

Also at 5:15, Lumine shielding her eyes from the bright flash and dust of her final shot.

At 5:33, The announcer shaking the camera-man. Again, completely unnecessary, but brought the scene together well.

At 6:05, the fact that even though there aren't any tears in her eyes, you could be excused for thinking there were. The voice mixed with quivering eyelids really sold it. Also, the sound her crying while say "no" is exactly what that sounds like in real life. (I would know, I've been in a similar position.)

At 6:15, we see Paimon actively panic a little as she tries to console Lumine.

That's it.

what blew me away even more was not how the graphics all look so official, but how lumine operates the rifle so well and has TRIGGER DISCIPLINE
