Highly recommended. This is a delicious salad. Sumac, once tasted, will be an essential element in your spice cupboard. I actually like it with the hubbus in the salad. Delicious

It’s so amazing to see how different people make their fatoosh. For example I make mine with mint, lettuce, pita, cucumber and tomato, with the dressing of dibis Raman (pomegranate syrup) and a spice called sumac. I love seeing other peoples types of fatoosh, I think it’s a great judge of character

Sumac is an acquired taste😅 once you get used to it it’s really good. I worked in a Persian restaurant and it was a hot commodity

Edit: if your sumac is bland you’ve been robbed! Sumac is not bland at all it’s got a tart taste and the flavor is unique.
