Expert Barber Advice – How To Cut Your Own Hair | The Buzzcut

A trend we’re seeing through the COVID-19 lockdown has inevitably been the buzzcut, you know it’s going to be a ‘thing’ when David Beckham decides to do it. However, you should proceed with caution with the buzzcut – once you’re committed, there is no going back!

In this video, we show how you can achieve it at home, but bear in mind, we’re professional barbers and we’re using professional tools. It’s not as easy if you don’t have the correct tools, like the Wahl clipper we use with the correct guards and variable cutting-teeth settings. If you’re clippering it off as one length all over, you’ll find it will grow out very uniform, little like a tennis ball!

The positives are that is it low maintenance and is a fresh start for the Summer heat, and there is no better time to see if it works with the shape of your skull and if you have any rogue moles or scars under all that hair!

It looks great on some people and just doesn’t work on others, so if you want to find out if it’s for you it is as good a time as any to give it a try, whilst in lockdown!
