Beating Strider (NES) no deaths, My Playthrough (9/2/2024)

My deathless playthrough of Strider for NES. I owned and beat this as a kid but never without dying so that felt good. But what the heck is up with the programming in this game? The messed up jump physics, the garbage sprites at the top & bottom of the screen, the pauses whenever a person you can talk to comes on screen... it feels like an unfinished game. Check out the bug at 51:34 where the screen doesn't scroll down enough to even show the floor.
This isn't a guide, walkthrough, or tutorial, it's just me playing through the game as best I can. What do you think of the game? Do you have any play tips, childhood memories, or interesting stories to share?
