Those are some pretty detailed tankers! Also, suggestion, since you have all those spare locomotive bodies and chassis that're in your "Locomotive Graveyard", you should do a video where you paint some of those broken chassis and bodies brownish green to look like scrap! Then you could add a siding to your layout that has all of these scraped engines in sidings and stacked on top of each other! It would be really cool! Of course, you don't have to, but it's just a suggestion!

On truss support rail cars you should expect a slight rise in the frame, more so if the
tank is empty or no load is present. This was typical of the design and it occurred in
all kind of cars (wagons). This particular type didn't have a particularly strong frame
so additional support would be needed. This also allowed a reduction in tare weight
which would allow more cars to be pulled by the engine without burning up more fuel.

I was almost expecting score bias toward oxford, but Im glad your final score was unbiased. Nice review! I can see why they put the weight inside the tank, but it does make the car overly top heavy

It would seem that Oxford Rail are indeed in pursuit of excellence, another great review. Having already acquired a few Oxford wagons I have already planed to add some of these to my collection so I'm glad they didn't disappoint. Maybe you could see how their coaches stack up, they only do MK3's at the moment but hopefully they will add to the range in the future. With good Locomotives bar a few early teething problems (mine are all okay) and good wagons the odds are they should be good.

Hi Mukka, great review as always. I am suspecting Oxford have been hiring ex Bachmann staff! Their prices have crept up accordingly. Nice wagons but over £15 is a big hurdle for me. I guess I shall continue to purchase second hand from our mutual affiliate... Hattons. Having said that even they have been hiring ex Bachmann staff judging by their second hand prices on occasions. I would recommend the Dapol rectangular tank wagon and I would like to see your thoughts on the Oxford Rail Carflat car transporter. I would also like to see you do a Vs video pitting the Hornby 4 & 6 wheeled coaches against Hattons’ genesis coaches, to see who comes out on top. I just can’t decide between the two.

£18.50, when oxford's previous wagon releases were around £10? Hmm, guess it is a more complex offering than an open wagon or a cattle wagon.
The Hornby 20T ones I believe are ex-Airfix, hence the lower price.

3 link couplings are a nice touch; as you say, very unusual for a rtr 00 wagon, and I've never seen them included before. But, I know you and I both won't be using them, considering how fiddly the 0 gauge ones are...
Also interesting is that one is in the Stone colour used for pre-war Class A tankers (post-war they used silver, to show the contents were highly flammable), and the other is in Black so denoting a Class B tanker (less flammable than Class A fuels, so not as dangerous), yet there seem to be no differences in tooling to reflect this. Could be that the early round tanker designs were just universal, but Dapol have clearly tooled 2 different 14T tanks in 0 gauge which do have differences, and are doing 2 different anchor mounted tanks in 0 too.
The bowing of the frames is kind of understandable, if the end planks are anchored to the centre of the frames to hold the tank in place. Because the tension would pull the middle upwards, and the ends would stay more true. But, looking at a preserved prototype, this doesn't seem to be the case (if anything, the wagon bowed in the opposite direction). Plus, could be a manufacturing thing, like the Rails terrier and such.
The NEM pockets are removable, just the socket they fit into are positioned higher up so the socket doesn't interfere with appearances too much. And its those sockets that are screwed to the model, as is standard practice. Defo those couplings seem too droopy, so personally I'd try gently bending the pockets to the right position.

Suggestions for rolling stock reviews:
Oxford carflat (I have 2, need a 3rd)
Bachmann lms inspection saloon (I have a br maroon one)
Bachmann autocoach (plus comparison to the hornby ex-airfix ones)
Hornby mk3sd's (Maybe you could get a gwr castle set. I've got 5 scotrail ones and 3 gwr ones)
Dapol MBA/MCA/JNA/IOA wagons (I have 5 MCAs and a JNA falcon)
Can't wait for the hattons RHTT review.

When I next visit a model shop in person, I'll invest in at least 1 to go with my Bachmann and Mainline/ex-Mainline 14T ones and my old Hornby prestwins.

I would think, (but am not sure! ) that the 3 link chains for coupling would NOT bu used on tank wagons, instead for safety reasons it would be screw link or in abscence of a screw link an instanter type coupling to avoid (or reduce ) the possibility of unintended 'SURGE' in even compartmented wagons as was done early ön when 3 wheel milk wagons ended up at their destinations with a tank wagon half filled with...Buttter! due to surge from the motion of the train, even baffles only damped down the surge effect add tö that the relatively violent movement of 3 link chained wagons with sometimes over a foot (30cm) of movement between adjacent wagons meaning there could be a hundred foot of undamped motion between ALL the wagons on a longish freight train, more violent if it was
