I made the transition from heavy equipment operator to software developer 3 years ago. Since I was a teenager, I always had an interest in computer science. My dream was to get a degree in electrical engineering, but I just couldn't afford secondary education so I moved on.

Even though I had no schooling, I found a company that was willing to give me a chance because of my great interest in this field. They gave me some projects and I learned as I went. Now I'm a very valuable asset to the company and proficient in c ( I work with embedded systems).

I learned that I love coding and fulfilled my dreams just as you did. Never give up and work hard to do what makes you happy.

Also, what is your favorite language? I had no prior knowledge of c# a month ago but decided to use it for Advent of Code this year. It was easy to make the transition from c and I fell in love with c#. I want to continue to expand my knowledge and learn other languages that are pertinent in today's world as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
