I'm a drug and alcohol counselor. I work in a facility that is one step down from in-patient treatment. It is sometimes a challenging environment. I worked there two years and one of our senior clinicians was a minister. He radiated the peace and love of Jesus. I left that job, then came back. The minister no longer works there. But, I needed to find a way to do this job and the countenance of the minister kept coming back to me. He modeled they way without saying a word. So I went and found a church. I returned to God. I now try now to model the peace and love of Christ to my clients and co-workers.

Blessing Father Mike! This was such a powerful message. It’s challenging to bring up Jesus and God with anyone in my family, except for a handful of people. Even my own brother. I’ve been trying to get the message across as gently as possible. Sending Matthew Kelly videos, your videos, songs and prayers. They leave the room. They misinterpret the message and get offended. I just don’t know how to reach them. Do you have any advice? I don’t want to hound them after being rejected already. I think for unbelievers they are afraid to face God in their brokenness and shame. Maybe their angry at God and don’t understand. Maybe their afraid if they look to God, He’s going to ask them to change and their afraid and stubborn. I don’t know what it is… the reasons they’re so closed off to the possibility that God is real. But I know this is suffering for them and that’s why I want to let them know that through their suffering, more than ever, Jesus is there with them. He’s the savior now and forever. God is good. Yes! Take faith in Jesus….receive the Holy Spirit…..and pray God’s will be done in your life! You will be amazed! He will use you…..maybe some Angel duty!
Maybe you become a Pastor…..maybe you sing for him…..you will be gifted by the grace of God….use your gift! Amen!

The Humane Society does still save lives!... Just ask all the animals they still take care of. A furry Life.. is a Life... They basically became Animal Rescue places.

However, it was awesome to hear how they started.

Also I want to make a note, for people who are like me and aren't good at talking to people or socializing. Some of us are Not Aaron, but we are more like Moses.. slow of speech.... Find a group that is reaching out to bring people to the Church and work as a helper (even setting up or cleaning up)... Be the Help for those who speak!

Or.. Pray yourself, or with a Prayer group praying for Conversions, and For those in the process of converting.

I am not good at speaking, but I can help those that are.

I just listened to a talk about loving yourself and at the end of it all I could think is I’m not worthy to love myself. 1 minute into this talk my understanding totally reversed. It went from I am not worthy to love myself to I am not worthy NOT to love myself. Both talkers said basically the same thing but I believe this time God told me to be worthy of Me, you need to be worthy of yourself. If I kept on feeling I wasn’t worth Jesus living and dying for me, then He did it all for no reason. Thank You Lord Jesus and please help me live totally for you. 👏😇
