Great vlog Simon & Nice Ft off Jen! I finally finished visiting and getting out at every station on the crosscity line today I did it in 3 parts myself started of simple by doing Redditch branch in October 2021 then did Birmingham New St to Bromsgrove back in April and today I finally finished of by doing Duddeston to Lichfield TV now the HL has reopened. Can’t wait to see your part 2 Simon. I enjoyed watching.

Brilliant video, nice to see Jen in this as well. I love the Cross City Line and the Class 323's, would love to visit all the station on that line in 1 day someday.

13:53 The official name of Junction 6 of the M6, or as we all know it as Spaghetti Junction, is Gravelly Hill Interchange

There is an Annatomix fox at Wylde Green, and another one I've heard at Shenstone (not seen this one yet). Duddeston is useful for the Birmingham Museum Collection Centre (on open days). You can walk to Spaghetti Junction from Gravelly Hill. Done it once in the past. Nice to see you got HS2 in the video Simon.

I always thought that 323s sounded like Space Invader machines!

Think the only time I used Sutton Coldfield was for a Radio 1s 25th Birthday concert in 1992, I was 17....

awesome video i agree with Jen when she said the 323 is the best sounding train i like them for the robotic noises also i agree about the 350/2s i recently rode a 350/2 and i think they need refurbishing and power sockets fitted like the other refurbished ones anyway brilliant work from both you and Jen and im loving all the stations keep up the awesome work

As the Cross-City Line ends at Lichfield Trent Valley with the overhead wires. The overhead wires ends few hundred metres and I think there’s a turnback siding for Class 323 to use when terminating at Lichfield Trent Valley.

Thank you for sharing Simon. I hope you manage to get your camcorder sorted soon, although, the phone footage looked quite good too. 🙂

The phone shot looks better you get great quality even in 4K and there’s no pixies but I prefer it that way good video Simon

I laughed at the Batman/Costa coffee transition.
I would disagree about Class 323s being the best sounding trains ever. If we're only talking electric trains, I still prefer my Class 318s, but when you consider steam trains exist, 323s start to slip down the league tables.

I see you pushing the button to open the doors getting off. If you wait wont the driver open the doors for you.

I'd appreciate the clip of motorcycle being removed, had thieves 4 times in 6 months trying to steal it, if this gets seen it just advertises where the bike is now kept, thanks for the consideration
