here is a couple i use that i don't see to many other guy use. next time you get the chinese lunch special save the plastic bowl and lid they work great for nut and bolt storage and how about tv diner and the square containers also work great for part's storage and also for those extra socket's, drill bit's, diag. wire's and extra nut's and bolt's to keep in your box for back up.👍

I def end up using magnetic trays as a combination nut/bolt and socket/wrench holder haha. Nice tip with the zip ties for nuts too!

For cooling system hoses I like to use some marking paint across the clamp and hose so I can line up exactly where the clamp is holding and don't have to experience any leaky surprises after re-assembly. I know you can look at the indentation, but sometimes there's past indentations or the area is hard to see.

When I do my home garage work and I need to take things out the engine bay, I like to label the various electrical wires when I unplug them. Simply using painters tape and labeling A-A, B-B, C-C, ... on both sides of the plugs, allows me to quickly know where cables get connected to.
