I am currently in the Philippines where I visited the Ifugao rice terraces in Banaue. The internet has many theories who built the terraces but the locals all seem to agree that noone knows who built them and we merely adopted them as our own... You should check it out, I myself found it fascinating 👍

I’m in Leb often, sometimes several times per year. Worked at the Embassy while with DSS a few times in the career. Baalbek is at least as amazing and old as you’ve aptly described. It frankly wouldn’t surprise me if it were antediluvian. Anyway, the point of my writing was to pronounce “shawarma.” Which is pronounced: Sha-war-ma. Great stuff; really glad you liked Leb.

I live in the UK and I'm aware of the history of the 'Little Ice Age', which occurred in the mid-1800's. There are old paintings and woodcuts of the Thames river that runs through London freezing over for long periods of time. Local people setup little business on the iced over river to sell food and whatnot. We're probably talking about a foot thick of ice or more. The point is, it's no coincidence that the climate alarmist charts/graphs usually start at about 1850... It really could only get warmer after the Little Ice Age. They are lying to us.
