▸ The JOJOLands (ザ・ジョジョランズ) is the ninth and current part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It was announced in the September 2021 issue of Ultra Jump and began serialization in the March 2023 issue.
▸ The story takes place on the volcanic islands of contemporary Hawaii. Jodio Joestar, a young boy living on Oahu Island, aspires to become extremely rich by reaching the apex of the world's mechanisms. As for what he plans to do to achieve his goals, an unpredictable story unfolds in the islands woven with light and shadow.
▸ The JOJOLands represents the third part of the series set in the second continuity, also known as the "Steel Ball Run Universe".

I used to think Glory Days was utter garbage for a stand but honestly this chapter changed my mind. This is one of my favorite things about JJBA, creating "bad" abilities like that and figuring out situations where they can be useful

yooo jojolands is back. I have some theories on this chapter: Latrato has the same sailor clothes that Johnny had in jojolion's flashback, are those clothes linked to the kingdom of Naples? So maybe Latrato was linked to the zeppeli. I agree with you that the tunnels he digs to find water will become 100% lava tubes, so it is likely that Latrato himself found a lava rock and became rich thanks to it (perhaps passing it down from generation to generation). The Hawaiian girl he marries has hair similar to Lulu's; could it be that Lulu is indeed Acca's daughter and that she was abandoned because perhaps she was unwanted? So that perhaps Acca could use her stand to protect the land registry without remorse. After all, when Acca called the 2 assassins, he made sure that only Lulu knew about the lava rock (maybe because he thinks Bobby might betray him). Then in this chapter Lulu reveals the lava rock to Bobby, so who knows if maybe they will betray each other. Btw, in italian we say Àcca, not Accà

it would make sense if Jodio can only use his rain shield when standing still cause that’s what he seen him do, but it would be cool to see him use November Rain while running

Acca is really cool! ever since we got that tiny glimpse of his stand when he was first introduced, I cant help but wonder when we'll find out what it does. I hope we see more of him soon, the lore dump we got at the beginning was absolutely my favourite part of this chapter.

I also hope that Usagi stops suffering before the end of the year lol. This arc as a whole is fun but i have to agree that the MRI stuff is kinda dragging on now.

Happy that chapter 20 comes out in a few days cuz the wait between these two chapters has felt like an eternity haha.

This felt like such a short chapter, but it was really interesting seeing the origins of Howler Co.

I really feel like the next chapter or two is Paco's fight. I feel like the Hustle has more to it than meets the eye...

something thats been freaking me out about acca recently is that i listened to beat, the king crimson album the howler is from, and the song that follows the howler is called requiem. which has had me going crazy about the implications.

I thought a new chapter came hot but it’s still a few days away lol. But this will be a nice refresher before the new one. I think it’s too early for howler to be the real main villain but we’ll see. I think he’s pretty cool so far.

So I guess the idea is that when a Volcano erupts the materials go up to the atmosphere it causes rain, and then when the lava cools and becomes the lava rock it comes into contact with rain thus bringing back that rain through its abilities. Neat!
