I feel like it was always just a matter of time until I started playing Genshin Impact again, especially with all the new additions that keep on coming out like Fontaine and characters like Furina and Charlotte! This video is my animated experience getting back into Genshin 3 years after it first released! Is the game still good? Let's find out! :D

The Fontaine story is so good you are a while away but it is by far the best story Genshin has to date

3 years later and I’m still in love with Genshin. The story has only gotten better and (almost) every character feels so fun to play and save up for.

From what I remember from the Livestream event before Fontaine's release, they talked about how they designed underwater exploration to be thalassophobia (fear of deep water) friendly, by making sure there was plenty of light, foliage, and critters to prevent the feeling of staring into an endless abyss. they also spent a lot of time figuring out how to make the camera move and follow your character to help prevent motion sickness

As a long time player of Genshin, my advice is don't grind. Get on, do your commissions, maybe use your resin, do some story/exploration and then go take a break. So many people tried to do everything at once or tried to raise their characters like it was a speed run that they literally made themselves sick of the game and quit, which is a shame since they'd put so much work into it.

Believe me, I have played almost everyday since launch and I still love Genshin and enjoy my time with it. The important part is to not push to hard.

I love how almost everything in this game is derived from real-life cultures and mythologies. It feels like a best-hits compilation of all the most iconic aspects of the most commonly represented countries and time periods in fiction.

This takes me back to the days when I was hooked on games like MapleStory and Eden Eternal. I’d easily lose track of time, so I get the appeal of those sorts of games. Genshin Impact looks really good, but I know if I get started, it’d be hard to stop. The collecting flowers bit was my favorite part.

i was really burned out from the game in inazuma and sumeru but fontaine's story so far has been absolutely amazing especially the newest chapter furina quickly became one of my favorite characters and gotta say your video reminds me of why i loved this game so much at the start
