As a diehard Sens fan, I really feel for Methot. He was born and raised in Ottawa and has been playing side by side Karlsson for the last 5 seasons. They have amazing chemistry and work their magic together. I just don't know how he'll be in Dallas but nonetheless am hoping success for them. I feel like Ottawa could've gotten Methot back with a 4th round pick and another one in the future but they missed their chance. Hopefully, Chabot comes in ready to play.

having many draft choices is like stacking up on lottery tickets. The later rounds are usually random and the more picks you have the better the chance of hitting a jackpot

Dallas didn't know what happened last year so they had to go and get some old vets to put the team back together, as a Blues and Senators fan this trade kinda of makes me mad because the Stars will be even stronger and the Golden knights just got rid of a great player
