=== Corrections
I said Lüdge (Ludge) in the video. Sorry for that. Correct town is Lügde (Lugde) in Germany.

=== Map of B-17 Crash sites:

=== NOTE :
The footages and pictures in this video are showing originals from WW 2.
But not showing the actual footage or picture about the subjected B-17 and crew. Unless I mention it in the video.

I am interested to the history of the B-17 Flying Fortress since 2000 and doing research since 2017. It's still my hobby beside my full time job. I want to be accurate as possible with the information in my videos. However, if you find any mistakes or have additional information, please correct me and let me know :)

Respect to these men, they were heroes. They lost their lives so young.

i found this video because my mother who is 93 now knew the bomber crew, she remembers the tail gunner the crew apparently called him "earl" and the waist gunner "freddy"...they used to visit her family in baldock hertfordshire when they were stationed at bassingbourn.

I recall this story from several years ago, and it seems that in that telling there was some controversy regarding the facts. Anyone else have more information?
