Ryomen Sukuna SECRET Cursed Technique vs Jogo
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 16

Sukuna's showdown with Jogo in season 2 stands as one of the season's most thrilling battles. Yet, it's Sukuna's mysterious technique that truly steals the spotlight. The King of Curses is famous for his cleave and dismantle attacks, as well as his Domain Expansion, Malevolent Shrine. But it was Sukuna's newfound ability to manipulate flames that took everyone by surprise, even Jogo. Does this suggest that the technique is widely known only amongst sorcerers?

The “box” technique could literally just be his cursed technique. And his entire CT is just cooking. Like he can cut beings and objects with cleave & dismantle, so why do we limit his technique to only cutting. He might’ve just been the Heien era of Gordon Ramsey. Perfect cutting, cooking, maybe washing and anything else that relates.

I'm gonna be honest, the noticeably different art style used for the entire Sukuna vs. Jogo showdown took me by surprise. At first I felt that the overall decrease in detail and resolution for the sake of fluidity of the animation wasn't worth the sacrifice in quality (I later learned this episode/ fight was made by a totally different set of MAPPA animators than previous episodes), however by the end of the battle I was *really* digging how INSANELY fluid and dynamic their fight was, and the art style definitely grew on me. It is a real sleeper of an art style.

To the people who are feeling skeptical or critical in dismissing this episode's style as a downgrade; give it a chance, re-watch the episode with an open mind. In my humble opinion, this team of animators *crushed* it with this fight, and the art style really appropriately illustrated the flow and pacing of the fight, and still managed to make the carnage and obliteration of entire skyscrapers feel genuinely impactful. Honestly don't know which is the best episode this season so far; It's either Sukuna vs. Jogo, or Yuji vs. Choso ftw.

This technique was used by both finger bearers. They were using his power so I don't think its that big of a surprise.

I gotta say I was not really a fan of the animation for the fight if anything it sort of looked like the pain vs naruto nine tails form fight with not so great animation

Buh the real riddle here sukuna said I wouldn't do something as petty as revealing my cursed technique

It doesn't suggest that cleave and dismantle is his original technique
