As a hairy-arsed Yorkshireman I never considered myself a Royalist but when that lady died I cried like a child. She was my Queen for everyday of my life and now, for some strange reason I miss her. I have tears in my eyes as I type now. Thank you for your respect to our Queen and country. God save the King.

As a big old British Royalist thank you for your kind words about our late Majesty.

From the UK. Thank you sir for your sentiments. It isn't about a monarchy versus a republic. But a woman, who never expected to be Queen, who devoted the whole of her life to the service of our country. And now we have to say may she RIP and God Save the King.

Our sense of patriotism is quiet and dignified. Not many nations realise this until we have an occasion like this. Did you notice a few German flags in there? We both take the piss out of each other, but there's a mutual respect and understanding that we've both learned from the terrible losses caused by politicians against the common man. ✌️♥️🇬🇧

It amazed me that so many countries around the world mourned Her death, even countries outside the Commonwealth. For example, the Brazilian government declared three days of mourning.

Hearing God save the Queen brought it all back that she's gone. Don't mind admitting it I shed a tear hearing it again 😢

I'm a Yank and I loved the Queen. She didn't have an easy life and she had a family that was full of drama and scandal but in spite of that maintained her dignity and continued to serve her nation and commonwealth with courage and grace.

My heart broke when our Queen passed because she had always been in my life, even as a child.I lost my husband only a couple of years ago, but, I even shed a tear for her. We will never see the likes of her again.

That was Benjamin Britten’s arrangement of ‘God save the Queen’, in my opinion the absolute best arrangement.

For me from a family that's lived on this small giant Island for generations the loss of Her Majesty the Queen was like getting hit by a sledge hammer totally unexpected emotional outburst was weird

I have to admit that I shed a tear too. Thank you Queen Elizabeth for your dedication to the world.

Seeing the sadness pass through you as the National Anthem was in its early stages and the respect you clearly held for our late Queen was humbling. Then to see you smile and the joy you clearly had when it ramped up was just heart warming. Even in someone's absence its amazing we can still feel that someone is around us and will never leave us in shining moments such as that.

It sometimes surprises people that we British are often seen as stoic, unemotional, stiff upper-lip types, but we certainly can(and do) be patriotic, emotional and immensely proud of our country. I really enjoyed your reaction to this, thanks for your respect and obvious emotion and enjoyment! I always find it fascinating to see reactions, it's intriguing to see how people from other parts of the world see us, and react to us, and it makes me look at what I am obviously familiar with, as an Englishman, and see so much of it with a different perspective. More power to you, squirrel, keep up the good work! All the best from the

I just found your channel and as a Brit I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. Jerusalem - well I have no words to explain the emotion I feel. You let this play out without interruption. God Bless you and your family ❤

Great reaction. Many people, including Brits, don't realise how closely entwined our monarchy is in our DNA. Cheers from the UK and a Happy Thanksgiving!

The Queen passed away during the week of the Proms. That night's concert became a tribute to her with only two selections - the piece of music she loved and had at her wedding, Elgar's 'Nimrod', followed by God Save the Queen, then silence.
