this was really helpful! git is kinda like a debugger, you can work without that but once you took some time to learn it, there is no going back!

Just wondering in a case where you would like to have only features like 001 and 003 but not 002, how would you acheive that considering that all features are already in dev branch.

For releasing, should I add my alpha or beta version, to "master"/production branch with the tag and making the release, or should I leave alpha and beta version releases on "release" branch?
Also I've tagged and made my releases on Github, on "release" branch. For ex. commits on "release" are "v1.0.0-alpha" and planning to commit "v1.0.0-beta". Is it wise to keep release commits and "release" branch permanent?
