During Covid, I lost my sense of taste and smell, so everyone on every platform preached about consuming vitamin C. Everyone said I should eat oranges and lemons which I did. I couldn’t taste anything, literally nothing! Which was kinda fun for a week or two because I would challenge my cousins and friends on who can eat a lemon and I would eat it whole with the peal, and pit, just everything and I wouldn’t even flinch. It was like drinking water. But oh God, I got soooo many cavities and discolouration on my teeth! I was baffled because I didn’t consume anything with sugar since it was pointless, yet I got more cavities in those months than my whole life! Thankfully, I came across a video like this where a dentist explained that over consumption of citrus fruits and acidic foods can be detrimental for teeth.

Something i really appreciate abt these videos is the no judgement. It's not, never have lemons, it's not too many lemons. Today it feels like everyonr is constantly pushing new stuff like never do this or always do this, appreciate the more moderate approach

What city are you in, I’m in Myrtle Beach and I’m terrified of dentists. I threw up about every day and it is ruining my teeth and my life. I’m just thankful I got such a fat upper lip that no one can see how bad my teeth really are. Please help.

Realistically, drinking some lemonade every day likely isn't enough to cause this on its own (source: am skeletal biologist). Many beverages (coca cola, energy drinks, etc.) are as acidic or more acidic than lemonade, especially because lemonade is often fairly dilute. That's not saying lemonade isn't bad for your teeth. It definitely is. Just saying that with proper oral hygiene, frequent water consumption, and no contributing health conditions, this will not likely happen due to daily lemonade consumption alone.

I'd wager this individual spent a lot of time vomiting. The level of damage suggests something significantly more acidic than lemonade (stomach acid can be >10 times more acidic than straight lemon juice) and the fact that it has affected her top teeth so much more is consistent with frequent vomiting.

She smoked that acid instead of drinking it

How remarkable, that her bottom teeth look so healthy, and her upper teeth have been demolished. I would think her saliva would distribute whatever liquid was in her mouth better!
