So Padme would 100% die. She would not stand for Anakin being the head of a form of government she hated, and it would break her heart all the same. Either that, or she would undermine him at every possibility until he eventually killed her in a rage as he already did, or until they overthrew him.

The game was a fun twist, I genuinely believe he wouldn’t kill the emperor for a while after defeating obi wan until he comes to the full realization that the emperor can’t help him save padme.

it's for this exact reason Darth Sidious had to keep Anakin under control because he did have intentions for being emperor. the only reason he didn't make a move was because Palpatine was keeping tabs on him, so he had to do things in secret. I know people think that Darth Vader had free reign to do as he pleased so long as it did not destroy the empire but that is not entirely true. Nonetheless, that is why he didn't kill Palpatine and become emperor.
