Naaah. Unless there's solid proof, all those showcased void hunters are dead. That trailer was just lore trailer showing history. The 3rd gen Hoshimi character would literally be a grandma if she's still alive. Everyone else in the trailer assuming they're not immortal or something are all dead cuz age.

As the video is literally called "lore teaser" its exactly that, more lore backstory. None of those characters will be playable since all of them are either dead or missing. Maybe they will be introduced in a different body with the same consciousness, since that is possible in the zzz universe, or we'll get their family member like miyabi. But we wont be getting to play those exact characters.

Only one of the idols is a robot, the others are humans, they're virtual idols because they do their activities in VR, like in the space where we farm materials, they just probably use the same technology for their concerts, that would explain how the robot has a human looking form, that's probably an avatar she uses in the VR enviroment.

With how fast-paced the combat is, I imagine the idol girl with flails (not maces) will play somewhat similar to Kratos' chained blades, and if so, it would be amazing.
