Excellent to hear your answers here, Johanna! The Warbreaker cover has a bit of a disco vibe to it. Not sure if that's what they were going for since I haven't read it. I agree with you about The Burning God, which had some great moments but also some narrative klunkiness.

I've got Legends and Lattes lined up for May, I'm really looking forward to it

Awesome Johanna! Tag accepted! 😊 I’m not a fan of the Warbreaker cover either, but maybe get the UK Cover somehow? It’s really eye catching.

A very fun tag ! I completely agree with you on the cover for Warbreaker, I would call it almost ugly, bah ! The cover for the audiobook on the other hand, is beautiful. I have the British physical copy of Warbreaker and although I wouldn't say it's beautiful, I certainly prefer it over the American one.

I‘m nervous/ excited for Babel. I’m scared as someone from Oxford that if there are any location errors (Americanism) then they will really stand out

Loved watching this one and hearing your answers. Into The Wild vs Into Thin Air is a tough choice in its own right but so glad you have read both. If you ever need another Krakauer - Try Eiger Dreams. I have never read The Glass Bead Game, but I love what I have read from Hesse, so interesting to hear your thoughts there. Next time share the beautiful passage lol, now I'm gonna have to read the whole book to find the what was so beautiful to you!

Into Thin Air was so good! And I just ordered Guns of the Dawn, so I'm happy to see that it's one that you enjoyed.

Oh fun!! Thank you for tagging me! And I totally agree with you on the Warbreaker cover. It is not a style I like either. I haven't read the book, but I plan of getting into some Sanderson soon. How could I not? 😅

I've watched quite a few videos of that tag, I just can't help finding that concept fascinating somehow. ☺️ For some reason, I actually didn't struggle with The Blade Itself, but I couldn't tell you why, I didn't find it boring at all haha.

The book you mentioned I'm most excited about is Guns of The Dawn! I also enjoy exploring genres I'm not used to (except horror, no thanks lol), and it just sounds like something so unique and engaging. 👌

Every time you speak about "Guns of the Dawn" I want to read it. *lol* I guess I have to pick it up soon. =) Great tag!

I like that Warbreaker cover! lol My choice would be about half of the original Wheel of Time covers

Glad you did this tag, love the answers. Placed my order for Legneds and lattes because I need some we easy-cosy read next month. 😊 I have the poppy war trilogy but was discouraged by many negative reviews. Babel sounds like dark academia and I am too looking forward to it. The audiobook cover art for Warbreaker is much better for sure.

I absolutely hate that Warbreaker cover too! Also Legends and Lattes was the exact same scenario for me. I also did not like the Burning God much and am more impressed with it on a thematic level than as a story. Hopefully Babel will be a bit of a better landing!

YOU DON’T LIKE THE COVER FOR WARBREAKER?!!! I’m crushed!!!

I’m afraid of The Blade Itself lol It’s excellent to hear you liked them with continuing it, because the idea of an entire huge book not self contained just feels daunting and a waste. But then on audible I bought A Little Hatred and the next two not knowing they were connected. So I’ll be taking the plunge sooner or later.

I totally want to check out Babel! It sounds so cool. I hope it’s good.

Great video and an interesting tag. Looks like I know what my next video is. I'm a sucker for a good books cover.

Yesss, this is such a fun tag!! I loved hearing your answers! 🥰
I completely agree on the Warbreaker cover! I had never seen the audiobook edition though, but that is way prettier! 🤩
And I was in the same boat as you after reading The Blade Itself! I probably wouldn't have continued on if it wasn't for the immense hype around that series either, but this was a rare example of hype actually working in a series' favour, because I ended up really enjoying the trilogy.
Also, I can acknowledge that Theft of Swords is not for everyone, but I personally love Michael J. Sullivan's books and I think his series only get better the further in you get! If you ever feel like giving it another shot, then I'd love to hear your thoughts 😉❤
