Hi everyone, thank you for all your lovely comments as always….. 🙏
To the people that seem to be taking it personally and getting their knickers in a twist. I know his surname is Cushing, it’s my accent makes it sound like Cushion…. Please don’t lose sleep over it, it’s not the end of the world. 🙏

Knew a group of lads(fans) who went to find mr cushing, an elderly local lady said to them he was an old man and to please be repectful, they found his house but no one there..they were just about to leave and there he was walking up the road wearing a deerstalker hat, he had photos took and was welcoming to them, bless him, iconic actor x

I was a postman in Whitstable in the 80s, I delivered to Peter Cushing on many occasions, he would answer the door, have a little chat. Often saw him cycling around the town or sitting in the Tudor Tea Rooms. A really nice guy.

I met Peter Cushing twice once in that tea room and he was nothing like you’d expect a film star to be he was just a lovely old man with perfect manners and he rode about on a clapped out old bone shaker of a bicycle. They certainly don’t make em of his class anymore.

There's an aura of peace in that neighborhood. I do get the feeling that Peter and Helen are blissfully together in the afterlife!

He was an amazing artist. He did a watercolour picture of his dog for my aunt when she found the lost pup

What a sad state the cemetery is in. The council should show more respect.
Peter Cushing & Vincent Price together with Hammer Films scared the daylights out of us.

, my husband sent Peter a birthday card many years ago as he was a fan. To his amazement, he received a letter of thanks off him, how nice was that.

We dined in the tudor tearooms 33 years ago and Peter was sitting in his usual spot. They had a small vase with a rose in it on his table and he was eating his lunch.I didn't disturb him but he seemed a perfect gentleman.

One of my favourite people.
Carrie Fisher once said he was so nice she couldn't pretend to hate him.
