Do-More PLC Program Example Timer On Delay

Показать описание
The PLC On Delay Timer is used in a majority of programs. In our example, the start pushbutton must be maintained for two seconds before the pushbutton input is sealed in by the timer done bit.
The timer done bit will also turn on the output light. Resetting the timer is done by pushing the stop push button. When power is removed from the rung the timer will reset.
If the pushbutton is not held long enough, the output will not turn on.
The physical operation of the input and output (IO) is used along with the visual monitoring of the ladder logic code. You can see how this circuit works.

General information on the BRX Do-More series of controllers:

There are also system configuration tools that will calculate the power budget, I/O count, and price.
BRX Do-More PLC Configuration:

There are several reasons why we are using the BRX Do-More Controller. Here are just a few.
– Standalone PLC with built-in I/O
– Built-in Data Logging
– Communication ability – Ethernet Port, RS232, RS485, USB – support for protocols such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, ASCII, K-sequence (DirectLOGIC users), Custom Protocols (ASCII over serial, TCP or UDP over Ethernet)
– Built-in Analog input and output
– Integrated motion control
– High-speed counters
– Powerful instruction set (Video of Instructions in software)
– Ability to expand the system with a variety of modules
– Part of the Do-More series of PLCs which use the same free software. (Do-More Designer)
– Integrated simulator in the software capable of external communications for testing
