This is a video telling how I correced the depth sensor fault on your Suunto Vyper. When the dive computer is showing 60-80m at sea level, blinking and beeping, this is what you do:
1. Take of the rubber cover
2. Rinse it off throughly
3. Let it soak in varm fresh water
4. Blow it dry with compressed air
5. Repeat secton 3+4 for 5 days
6. Dry off the Suunto completely
6. Take out the old battery
7. After a couple of days install a new battery
... and, then it works

Followed your instructions, I put the Suunto Vyper into a mix of 50% vinegar and 50% water for 4 days, then a few hours in fresh water, let it dry, changed the battery and it works again. My Suunto is 20 years old, hundreds of dives and working again! Top engineering from Suunto

I bought secondhand vyper and it shows 0.0m all the time underwater, it was apparently sitting on a shelf for years.I will try this and let's hope for the best.

Det er meget sandsynlig, da hovedenheden er den samme.
Det tyder på at udfordringen er, at saltaflejninger sætter sig på sensoren, pga stillestående saltvand.

I've tried this four days so far, it's a shame my wife got it for me, she's died now, it's to old to be repaired I guess
