Suunto Zoop Novo - Mode Button Problem

The Mode button on my Suunto Zoop Novo was not working during my dive trip to Egypt.

I was not able to use the dive planing function nor setting up my gas. Dive mode was automatically activated as soon as it got to the water. So basically it is just usable as a timer / depth gauge since it was not possible to set up the correct O2 Level / Nitrox mode.

Interestingly back home the problem seemed to bo gone and the mode button works just fine.

During my last dive trip to Sansibar the same problem arised again. The clip was shot approximately 1.5 hours after diving and a quick freshwater rinse.

Both times the old Suunto Vyper saved my trip since it was working fine all the time.

Seems like my Zoop Novo does not like hot temperatures.

What did you do during those 3 weeks with no use?
Did you feel the button become softer to push?

I never use mine and same problem on the Mode button. It's pure wasted money this watch
