I find the system has a major flaw. When it is not raining and you just want to wipe the windshield clean, and you press the button, past the resistance point, the wipers start working almost before the washer spray. As a result, in case of sand, or worse cement powder or any other abrasive element on the windscreen, it is scratched by the wipers all over the glass before it is lubricated by the washer fluid. I had a car parked near construction sites that we had to replace the windshield because it was so badly scratched. There should be a timer that delays the wiper until the windshield is fully lubricated by the washer fluid before the wiper starts working. A simple solution to avoid very expensive repairs. Mercedes, think about it!

My 2018 GLE 350 is either all the way on or nothing. The in-between settings will wipe one time, but that's it. It's been like that since I've had it. They never come back on. It's pretty annoying. Any ideas?

I've got a 2009 clc 220 and 1 of the windscreen wiper jets is really poor when I try to wash the windscreen. I've tried blowing it out with compressed air. Still very poor. Please help.
