So an energy wave with the appropriate amount of heat and velocity somehow managed to collect enough particles that it compacted them together until it got large enough for gravity to take over. The gravity then had enough pull to collect even more particles until the sun was the size it is today. Now the shear size of the sun gives it enough crushing power that it creates heavier particles that are then ejected... But it's made of gas... Hmmmm... Is it just me or does that seem a little peculiar...
