These tips are great. I want to get into airbrushing leather dye. The leather soaks up the dye and if applied unevenly it will be exagerated in the product. In the leather craft world they say, "that is just the natural carracteristics of the leather". But, you can plainly see all the sponge, dawber, brush or airbrush strokes. I am confident that practice and training will help make a much better end product. Thank you for all the videos. 👍😁

Thing is we all rest our hand on the surface to use a pen or pencil - nothing different with the airbrush for fine detail - it's all about practice and having a background in drawing where hand eye co- ordination experience makes things intuitive,

Problems starts when a hand rest can't be used - then the airbrush sorcery starts - buttock clenching stiffness and dad dance moves to get the flowing movement necessary - it's all practice until it becomes second nature - it helps a lot if you have drawing experience but given application it all pans out easily.

Coming from a mouth diffuser to early airbrushes, I had through financial need to draw my Company's technical illustrations, which pre Photoshop and Illustrator was an onerous task - all in ink and monotone - but an enjoyable and rewarding experience - the artwork is still being used now despite the availability of digital media - given that airbrushes had originally been designed to edit photographs using ink as a medium, its use as a painter has gone from a U.S. customiser to a modeller's standby and an illustrator's go to.

It's all really very easy - a simple mechanism that you must clean every time you use it - polish the needle - dilution and flow improvers for acrylics - thinners and respirators for others - and appropriate compressor settings.i

Amazing video my friend !! Just did my first Chicano clown girl called the Black Widow man that was hard ! That micron I got sure came in clutch ! YOU NEED TO DESIGN A AIRBRUSH ASYLUM LINE OF AIRBRUSHES !!! Wow that would be AWSOME ! Start with a multi purpose brush with a 0.5 tip for larger work and then do a 0.3.5 and then a 0.2 and finish with a 0.18 and have all the bells and whistles like the big boys you should do it they would take off !! I know I’d buy the whole line and I’m sure all your students and followers would be lining up to purchase them !! Anyway another AWSOME video especially about coloring in I still have problems with that one !! 😣 ugh !

Frustration 4. My brush doesn't seem to want to push pigment.... Yeah, pretty sure I broke it - not a clue how to fix it though 😭

My airbrush is constantly blowing air and I cannot get it to shut off. I have disassembled it and cleaned thoroughly several times. It is a dual action Paasche I have lubricated using the wax on the needle... I'm at a loss of what else to do? And I have a project due! Any helpful advice is appreciated.
