Inside Cynthia Bailey’s Surprise Engagement 💍 #RHOA

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Cynthia Bailey, got engaged to sports journalist, Mike Hill, after 14 months of dating. Mike proposed to her with a gorgeous 5-carat princess cut solitaire ring in Atlanta at the grand opening of her new business, The Bailey WineCellar.

So while we were Netflix and chilling Friday night, C HILL was out her finessing a whole proposal situation in Atlanta. Yes People Magazine got the exclusive over the weekend reporting that after 14 months of dating, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star and the sports journalist are engaged to be married! Now I know a lot of yall been giving C HILL the side eye but I feel like now it’s official official. (Clip: Do you love him)

Mike Hill proposed to Cynthia with this gorgeous 5-carat princess cut solitaire ring in Atlanta at the grand opening of her new business, The Bailey WineCellar. According to People, Cynthia’s new bling consists of a stone worth about $70,000 as well as an elegant white gold band covered in a mixture of princess cut and baguette diamonds — which costs just over $14,000. Yes you did the math right she finessed this shinny ring that worth around 85 thousand dollars.

Now this will be the second marriage for both Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill, who have been dating for 14 months, but that didn’t stop him from going all out. He made sure that the surprise proposal was a family affair, with Cynthia’s daughter Noelle Robinson and Mikes’s two daughters — Kayla and Ashlee — were all in attendance, alongside a crowd of the couple’s closest friends and her RHOA cast mates.

I love that so much went into keeping this thing a surprise, According to a source on the scene, Mike told Noelle that he needed her help to open the bottle and she passed him the ring box, helping him open that before he dropped to one knee and professed his love.
As he did, Noelle, Kayla and Ashlee all gathered behind him with a hand-made puzzle piece sign that real, “Can we be a family?”
It all turned Cynthia into a ball of emotions. Though she was confused at first, Cynthia broke down in tears when she saw mike get down on one knee and ask her the big question. She quickly said yes.

The crowd quickly erupted in applause chanting “Congratulations Chill!” — the nickname Cynthia and Mike have adapted on social media.

It’s no secret that Nene Leakes is not in the best place with these girls and if you watched the reunion you know that a lot of that has to do with how things played out with her former bestie Cynthia last season. I’ve heard things and they haven't been pretty. Some headline are saying that girls are linking up to take down Nene Leakes. I’ve heard that she’s being punished for last season and I’ve even heard that she refuses to film with certain girls. So was Nene at Cynthia’s launch event this time? Nah..

I’ve confirmed with my sources that Nene Leakes was not in the mix. That’s exactly why we cant find her wig in any of these photos. She hasn’t commented congratulations and I don’t imagine that she’s thrilled at all about this news in the first place.
