When we bought our 2018 RWD LR M3 at the beginning of August 2018, we bought Enhanced Auto Pilot, EAP. At the time I think it was $3, 000. About a year later we upgraded to FSD on that car and we paid $7, 000 for the upgrade. That's when the prices for FSD were rising. We liked EAP but wanted all of the extra capabilities of FSD if the Tesla team was ever able to perfect the product. We are in the FSD beta program for the M3 and also for our 2021 LR MY and I use it fairly often but I've got to honestly say, it's pretty glitchy and has a long way to go to be at L5 or even L4 autonomy.
