Does Newcastle Need a BUFF in Apex Legends? #shorts

With the lowest pick rate in Apex Legends, Newcastle mains are scratching their heads why it is so slow. I had a community member as me if I think Newcastle Needs a BUFF in Apex Legends and I have a response that definitely surprised them.

I honestly agree 100% I feel like people look at NC wrong, like you said to NOT play him passive and to play him aggressive, if more people played him more people wouldn’t think he’s “bad” as people think, that’s just me tho

i started maining NC because i love the passive of saving teammates with the shield like u in a war, it is true you have to play him more aggressive than one might expect, the shield and ult are excellent for pushing a team or escaping

Fair. Its the same with a lot of other low pick rate legends. Vantage is another great example. Perfectly balanced, just thag the playstyle is very hard to adjust to when everyone plays Path, Wraith, Valk, Horizon etc

Man I actually hate playing against Newcastle like %80 of new castles I play against are fucking gods and always have gold res, so it feels like you have to knock both of his teamates simultaneously to get solid push or you have to knock the new castle and push but what's worse is everytime I run into a good Newcastle theres always a lifeline on his team, it's actually frustrating

thats why i love taxi’s nc so much, say what you want ab his personality but the way he plays nc like a complete battle healer and constantly being weird with the shield is so fun to watch

What you are saying is completely true. Unfortunately they buff guns and legends based completely off pick rate and kills so get ready for an eventual buff that will break the game and then what feels like an eternity until they fix the issue because they don’t actually watch or play their game.

His passive ability is to revive and move at the same time. Using that aggressively has done wonders for me. I play Newcastle for fun now and then and almost every time I play aggressively it works out

As a Newcastle main I completely agree he’s honestly kinda op with a full mobile protection and the ult is able to push and take out all the enemies and also escape easily

As a NC player i would say the only change i’d like to see is an increase to the distance for his ult and maybe a touch up on how it interacts with objects

Give crypto the ability to toss out his drone and move it with tactical button like vintages bat. Down on dpad to recall it and hold down on d pad to enter it. It gives you the ability to properly recon without being so vulnerable and you can potentially set up traps with his ultimate allowing for more hybrid gameplay

It's only because of the perceived slowness, if they made them feel as fast as the others or even make like a movement thick legend it'd do well

There are older legends that require full reworks to be on par with newer Legends.

Crypto has no abilities when his drone is destroyed. Mirage's decoys can be told apart from audio cues, and the fact they clip into terrain and walls when they collide with them is a dead giveaway

New castle is a high iq legend. Definitely a top tier legend in the right hands

I used to main Newcastle (I play mostly vantage at this point) and he was one of the most difficult yet satisfying legends to use. Super fulfilling once you finally learn how to use his whole kit effectively. But yeah… no need for a buff, he’s very powerful once you learn how to play him correctly.

Tac: now binds Enemys and does damage over time
Ulti: higher range reloads gun u can go back and scans enemys nearby
