So they changed the OPP from 150% to 120%. Assuming constant voltage, thermally that's a HUGE difference (150% is about 40-50% hotter than 120% depending on heat dissipation).

Speaking of "remember when that was top of the line, " I just want to remind people that at the end of 2011 I bought two 3GB GTX 580s in SLI for £800 all together. So that's *two* top of the line graphics cards for about the price of a 3070. Either one of them cost about the same as an RX 6600 XT. What we pay for an entry level card now is what we used to pay for a flagship.

That’s called “standing” at 38:10. I’m pretty sure every person in the class action would have to prove that they have been personally harmed by the Newegg policy, which would be exceedingly hard to do and Newegg’s lawyers would have a cakeday in shutting it down. Maybe it could be an action based on intentional infliction of emotional distress, but then you’d have to show that Newegg was selling them intentionally to “harm” you, which they weren’t, they just wanted to clear out these units and get their money back. All in all, fuck Newegg.
