If I didn't know what film this trailer was from, there's no way in hell I would have thought it was from KOF.

Where is Kyo, Iori, Mai, Rugal? Is this a real adaptation from the KOF game??

What sucks about this movie:


· The film's roster has 9 fighters taken from KOF '98, the original amount in the game had 38 (At least they added Mr. Big).

· KOF '98 originally had 12 teams, this movie only has 2: The Rugal Team and The Savior Team (where Mai takes Chizuru's place).

· They got the fighting styles, special moves, and super powers all wrong (Except Mr. Big's).

· The casting choices were a joke, especially Terry Bogard who looks like Dateline NBC's Chris Hansen wearing a Thrift Store-budget cosplay. I don't think Gordon Chan wanted Terry in the film.

· Almost every film involving David Leitch (Terry) has a lesbian moment! Mature and Vice aren't very close, one us a bisexual and the other is a sadist.

· Speaking of casting: Will Yun Lee should've played as Kim Kaphwan instead of Iori Yagami! Because he is so much like the character.

· The plot focused more on the artifacts such as the "Kusanagi Sword", which no one cares about, not even SNK cares.

· HITMAN aside... The late-2000s was such a dark year for both video game and manga adaptations. The Top 5 being: Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, Dragonball: Evolution, The Last Airbender, 鉄拳TEKKEN, and of course The King of Fighters 2010.

The only was a KOF movie can work is either a Masami Obari helmed or produced anime movie or a PG13 CGI movie with CGI that looks better than KOF Destiny and from people who are into the games while SNK has input much like Nintendo did with the recent animated Mario Bros movie

I have no problem to Maggie Q she's actually fits in the role as mai. The only problem was wrong concept of her character. 1st red color not blue 2nd her fans are missing & last her elemental power should be fire not electric

Horrendous, looks like the Street Fighter movie or even worse! SNK should never give rights to such an epic game unless a big film studio is willing to spend big in making a KOF film.

They could easily try make this movie again with all the big booty & titty instagram model gym girls and jacked up gymbros of today. Have minimal acting and simple storyline. Emphasis more on poses, fighting, action etc. Would be a fun stupid movie.

my answer to this is literally NO.
Like HOW CAN THEY MESS UP THE KING OF FIGHTERS SO BADLY!?! This film doesn't have anything common than what's in the game itself. it's nowhere as good as the game itself, either. it just misses the game's opportunity.
and worst of all, they didn't even bother to add K" (K" Dash) in it either. Which is my 2nd favorite KOF main. but I'm glad he wasn't included in this godawful film adaptation, because he is never interested in acting in this movie.
