Gamora Was Almost CUT From Guardians 3?!

Having Gamora in 3 not only helped Quill face the truth about loss and him running away. Also gave a window to Gamora pre-2014 that she was becoming the person she became. That ending scene when she asked Peter about their relationship but also the scene on the ship with her going through his stuff. She feels the connection but fights like she did in vol. 1 and slight in 2.

I was seeing the movie with my friend, and this stuff was so embarrassingly funny and awkward for Quill every time he tried talking to Gamora. L rizz.

There was a lot of great comedy between gamora and quill, and I think it was a solid exploration of his grief. My main takeaway was that last convo. Was a beautiful conclusion to their relationship.

As cool as it is to see a gamora talk to quill I gotta say I don't like it as much. The first two movies were building up a relationship between quill and gamora that was almost tossed out the window because of Infinity War. It's not bad, but I still sorely miss the Gamora we know.

I miss the old Gamora, but I understand why they went the way they did with her character. Even with that understanding, the third movie just didn't hit right with me. It was Rocket's story, but that doesn't feel like it should've been the basis of the 3rd movie. It felt like a filler movie or a setup for another movie, not a conclusion. We didn't even get to see how Rocket and Groot found each other and why they're so close. I feel like that is a major part of his story that is just not addressed at all. Also, the soundtrack was completely off theme from the first 2 movies.

Why in GOTG 3 Gamora and Nebula had cold reaction to each other? Meanwhile alternate Gamora in End Game was way nicer to Nebula. Isn't she here the same Gamora from that timeline? I think this is the mistake for James Gunn to make Gamora too wild.

I guess Gunn had her in vol 3 because it was the final chapter in the guardians story and it only felt right to have Gamora in the movie so it would be the whole team together before the story ended

When I saw the first guardians of the galaxy trailer I thought that Gabor’s was gonna come back the same way she was in the last two films but I didn’t watch any of the other trailers and didn’t find out until I watched the actual movie that she’s in a different timeline
